Description: One Dozen Premium Tapered Port Orford Cedar Shafts made and harvested in southern Oregon by Wapiti Archery POC from premium old growth logs. Cedar is known as the easiest wood to straighten, takes stain nicely, and is the best choice for building arrows. They are spined within 5 pounds, within 10 grains, and are available in 45/50#, 50/55#, or 55/60# currently. Tapering the shaft (approx. 9") allows the arrow to recover quickly and moves the center of gravity forward yielding better flight characteristic. The taper also reduces pressure on the bow greatly reducing feather wear and tear. All tapered shafts come nock tapered. We pride ourselves in the fact that we sell straight grain shafts, which means each shaft will have grain that runs end to end. Each shaft is hand spined within 5 pounds, weight matched within 10 grains. All shafts are 33″ in overall length. Sold by the dozen.Shipping is calculated by your zip code. Always happy to combine shipping. If you are purchasing more than one dozen, you can request a total, or we can refund your PayPal account if the shipping charges are incorrect.
