Description: Welcome to Earlycoppercoins! I am the owner, Shawn A. Yancey, and I am a member of ANA and Early American Coppers, EAC #4647. I am pleased to offer the following item: From the New Cumberland Collection of 1793-1814 US large cents, complete by Sheldon Variety S-1 through S-295 including several NC varieties! NCC-039: 1794 S-35 Liberty Cap, Head of 1794, R5, EAC VG net G. Recorded in Numistudy V6 as Noyes #34146 and graded GSix net AGThree Scudzy. Fully VG details, with attractive reddish-brown color and surfaces that are mostly smooth and glossy but from a light burnishing. There is some light pitting and some scattered marks but overall, there is nothing here that deserves the “Scudzy” slander. Accompanied by a Tom Reynolds yellow envelope, where he grades the coin Eight net Five at $1250, and this example has previously been offered in three auctions as Six, Five, and Eight. I am going to split the differences with my EAC grade of Eight net Four and Minus. A very attractive example despite the assorted impairments. Ex-W.E. Johnson; RSB1:1986:46:GSix:$660; EAC 1995:155:GFive:Pass; B&M 03/96:36:VGEight:Pass; D&S Coins 11/29/96. Thank you for checking out this item! Make sure you add it to your watchlist and also subscribe to my eBay store to receive newsletters and promotions!
