Published in 1850 in New York by the American Bible Publishers. The front and rear boards are original, but the spine has been rebacked and the binding strengthened. The rear board has some scrapes and is not as clean as the front board. Clean and solidly bound pages, with light to moderate foxing. The previous owner signed her name and dated 1855 on the free front endpaper. There are no illustrations. The Old Testament had 828 pages, followed by the New Testament. Found at that spot in the bible was neatly inked family genealogy on 2 leaves - 4 pages, detached from the spine, with neatly inked family genealogy including the bible owner's name, and also an 1874 death notice. Those two items placed in a separate sleeve at the Bible's beginning. The New Testament had 273 pages. B17
