My Notes: Two previous booksellers' descriptions included. The first is a typed description from J. Stephan Lawrence, Rare Books. The second is a modern printed description from Weller Book Works. Lawrence rates the book near fine, while Weller rates it VG. Head and foot of spine show some minor wear. Spine darkened and slightly cocked. Previous owner's bookplate. Also a signature and various pencil notes. Front hinge a bit soft, but holding well. Map is present and has a 2" tear. I did not unfold the map to inspect. Excellent early Nevada content including supplemental papers at the end which include an early mention of the Sutro Tunnel. Content on Utah and Mormonism.
