Description: Listed is an antique postcard made in 1906 (and posted in 1908) illustrating an old-time football player along with his school flag (pennant) with instructions, "My favorite flag...wear it on your cap or sleeve". (And the embroidered flag could be removed from the postcard.) The pennant flag was made by Annin & Company, in New York, who incidentally is still making flags today in 2023.
