Description: Rare 1907 color postcard of Nuttall (aka Nuttallburg) West Virginia. Shows a view of The New River Suspension Bridge. Nuttalburg was a coal mining town in this era but the steep terrain made it unprofitable and it is now a GHOST TOWN. Postcard refers to the town as Nuttall and perhaps that was it's original name before it became Nuttallburg. The land was sold to the National Parks and is essentially unpopulated.
