Noteworthy historical features shown on the map include Cameron House, Arden House, Balloch Castle and Boturick Castle. The map is printed on thick parchment type paper and measures approximately 46cm x 30cm, with titles, notes, legends and scale bars on the wide margins. The whole sheet measures approximately 55cm x 41cm. The map is generally in very good condition, although it is slightly marked in places (see photos).
