Description: Yale Banner & Pot Pourri 1931. Hard back, book is square with firm hinges and binding. Blue boards are slightly rubbed; text block, paste downs and endpapers slightly foxed; pages lightly and evenly toned; contents clean and unmarked. A few interesting items were found inside: 1.1992 photograph of "Hertie" Barres (class of '32). Herster Barres was a football star in the class of 1932 at Yale. He participated in the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and was the Right end for the great Yale quarterback Albie Booth. 2. A typewritten couple of pages humorously comparing life in 1936 (BC - Before Computers) to modern times. 3. A panoramic photographic plate of class of 1932 from this or another volume. Torn along fold. 4. Another undated photographic plate of an earlier class year which also appears to have come out of a book. Please see the photographs.
