There are beautiful pictures, captions, and illustrations throughout this book. The front endpapers have a map of both North and South America . The book is very well put together and very well done. The Book of Mormon has never been arranged quite like this before or since. The author not only includes the text of the Book of Mormon itself but also adds a lot of commentary connecting the Book of Mormon to ancient American and Biblical history. Along with many Book of Mormon illustrations (several in color) he has photographs and illustrations of Maya war drums and other Mayan artifacts, a model of King Solomon's Temple, a Babylonian plow, the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, an Aztec stone mask, the Aztec calendar stone, an Aztec sacrificial knife, the Hill Cumorah, a "Lamanite Warrior," and many many more, all beautifully arranged with extra commentary along with the complete text of the Book of Mormon.
