Description: Up for auction is a 1939 LINCOLN cents -- BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED and minted in San Francisco. The "LINCOLN, WHEAT EARS" design was done by VICTOR D. BRENNER to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth. A limited quantity have the designer's initials (V. D. B.) on the reverse of the 1909. First type to have the motto IN GOD WE TRUST. The initials were restored, in 1918, on the reverse side on Lincoln's shoulder. Minted from 1909-1958. Please look at the pictures provided.
