Description: This 1950's Columbian Coffee Caddy is new-old-stock in its original box. Because the box lids were glued shut, the prior owner cut it open from the sides. This wonderful set shows absolutely no signs of use - not even once - but there are three flaws to note: 1) The coffee pot has three shallow dents or dings to the bottom (pictured)2) The coffee pot base rim has one very small chip to the porcelain (pictured)3) One coffee cup has a sizable chip to the porcelain on its rim. I hated to unpack the original tissue on the cups, but had to do so in order to inspect their condition. This large 6-Qt. pot holds 18 of the he-man size enameled cups of coffee or 36 standard size cups of coffee. The original box has wear to the top and shows the address where it was shipped to the Nash Coffee Company in St. Paul, Minnesota. The set was manufactured in Terre Haute, Indiana, USA.
