Description: Here up for sale is a mint unused set of 2 Auto World magnets for Aurora Thunderjet cars, still sealed on the card from the late 1960s to early '70s. Auto World part # 87012. This is the Auto World from Scranton, PA, not the modern Auto World company. These magnets have a rubbery surface texture and are probably not much stronger than standard Aurora TJet magnets, and may even be weaker in field strength. Some customers have said they are somewhat stronger than Aurora TJet ones. They are probably among the first of the 'polymer' type magnets for HO scale. Includes an HO decal sheet for Auto World and Goodyear sponsors, which may or may not be usable due to age. Card of magnets shown is representative of the one you will receive, but not necessarily the same one.
