Description: It's about 20 inched long. Rarely seen with most of the original silver paint intact! Just a few smudges in the silver and some very minor scratching here and there. The bolt pulls back and the trigger activates it. A few rat-tat-tats occur but for them to continue until the bolt has traveled the full distance, you have to manually move the red barrel plug back and forth while holding the trigger in firing position for continued fire. Likely with a small adjustment, this could easily be rectified by someone familiar with the toy's firing mechanism and the expertise to adjust it. It's in excellent overall condition, saw limited use as a toy, and was stored in a large box with other period toys for almost 60 years until I recently found it in the attic of my 146-year-old family home. This is the closest one to brand new that I've seen on the net. Fully insured shipping is $20.
