1961 CASPER THE FRIENDLY GHOST DOll in Box by MATTEL

Description: This listing is for a 1961 CASPER THE FRIENDLY GHOST DOLL by Mattel with the scarce box and sash. The doll is rather large, measuring 16 inches tall, and made of stuffed terry cloth with a plastic face and a pull string talk mechanism. This 62 year old Casper is in very good condition overall showing light playtime and age yellowing. Still displays great. The talk box works enough that you can hear Casper's voice, though I recommend using it judiciously because of its age. Comes with the extremely rare name sash in a very nice haunted house style graphics box. The box shows just a bit of wear, mostly to the top edges where the top flap opens and closes--other than that, it is complete with all flaps and still displays great. NOTE: This is a consignment, so please let me know if there is a problem within two days of delivery so that I can forward funds to the original owner. I can't accept returns after that.
