Description: MCM Mid Century Modern 1965 MARINA CITY TOWERS CHICAGO ORIGINAL OIL ON WOOD PAINTING by J. Eizel. Marina City was completed in 1964. Accompanying b/w photo which you get is dates 1967 (printed in 1967, taken?). My eyes aren't the best, but it appears there is still a crane on the top of one of the towers in the photo. Regardless, the painting was painted in what appears to me to say 1965? Frame is kind of cool, period frame. But it will need to be made a bit more sturdy with some small nails / brads. I photographed how the piece is pushed out from the frame. It looks to be on wood rather than masonite, but I am not 100% sure. Measures with the frame 31" x 25".
