Description: Handsome fold-out Chevron road map of Arizona, printed more than 47 years ago. The map opens to 18" x 26-1/2" and has great detail on old roadalignments, including U.S. Routes 66, 70, and 80, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. There are inset plans of Phoenix and Tucson. The map was distributed by the Standard Oil Company of California in 1967 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 9-OO, and the cover artwork shows a blue Chevron Standard gas station sign, with three scenic views. Condition: This map is in very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with no marks or writing. The paper has stiffened slightly, and there are tiny breaks on two fold corners.
