Description: Super cool 1979 Indiana License Plate from the Indianapolis 500 Official Pace Car 167. That year the Fox Body Mustang was the pace car. The car led the Indy car field to the green flag on May 27, 1979, for the 63rd annual Indianapolis 500. This plate was affixed to a garage wall by a race car collector years ago and has four extra holes that were drilled to hang it on a custom piece. Shows wear and dirt. Paint loss by the added holes. Cool large raised letter "I" across the body of the plate when you look at it sideways as it is not flat. Hard to find original.
