1987 Fat Chance MTB, 24", Box Crown Fork, Fillet Brazed Stem, Cook Bros, vintage

Description: 1987 Fat Chance with super rare box crown fork and fillet brazed stub stem, including buffalo nickel top cap. Box crown forks in decent condition have been selling for $700-800 alone, and this one is pretty rare with the roller-cam mounts. A matching fillet-brazed stub stem should be worth another ~$200 Excellent, used condition. Frame was repainted fairly recently. I'd call it a B+ paint job, not quite as smooth as a factory paint job, but not what I would call orange peel. It's very nice, and I'm being picky. Not sure if fork and stem are original paint or not, but they are pretty perfect. Frame has one tiny ding in the top tube, right side, smaller than a pencil eraser. Bike was just built with all new cables/housing/chain. Pedals are new. Saddle only has a few rides on it. Drivetrain and brakes all in great shape. Wheels are smooth and straight/round. No hidden damage or structural issues.
