This is the flight suit I did not receive till the middle of August I went to space camp in July 1987. some issues with the logistics of the flight suits caused a delay. Remember, this is the summer of 1987. NASA was not at its peak that year. dealing with a much bigger problem This turns out to be a good thing. The kids who did get a flight suit in time wore them for five days straight in the middle of summer in Alabama. I wore it once in September 87 to school to give a report to the Young Astronauts program about space camp.I wanted to use it for Halloween, but I had grown over 2 inches since it was ordered, and it no longer fit. It has spent the last 30 years in 5 different basements in sealed laundry bags.
