Description: Up for sale is a Antique Handmade Majolica Plate made in France by Utzschneider & Cie Sarreguemines. Circa 1860s-1880s. The plate features a gorgeous floral pattern with yellow, green, and brown colors. The base has marks for Utzschneider & Cie Sarreguemines. This company started producing Majolica in 1860 and due to the lack of a marked country of origin, this piece would have been made prior to 1891, so it dates to between 1860-1891. There are 10 very small chips/glaze imperfections around the rim of the plate and there is some crazing as seen in the photos. Otherwise the plate is in good condition and still displays beautifully. Measurements are approximately:6.5" Rim Diameter. BRD
