Description: From my personal collection comes this fabulous plate commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the settlement of Trenton, New Jersey. Dating from 1929, it was made by Scammell, a Trenton pottery manufacturer. The plate measures approx. 10 3/4 inches in diameter and features a beautiful image in blue of the Old Barracks, which is still a historical site and museum to this day. A shield with the dates 1679-1929 is at the bottom of the plate with wording at the top and a lovely floral decoration surrounds the well, all in blue. Plate is trimmed in gold, some slight wear. No other chips or cracks, near mint condition. We ship US Priority Mail ONLY! Handling charge is just 50 cents for secure packing with bubblewrap and peanuts.
