The 'A' (as usual) on this 315 denotes the 'Bruyere' smooth finish. Chamber shows fresh/clean wood ...looks smoked once ... maybe half a bowl ! Chamber ID at mid .730"x.730" (Group 3) . Bowl height 1 5/16" , Bore depth 1 inch , Weight 1.0015 oz. (28.4 g). Note : stem is a replacement NOT original , ie.: 1. flared fishtail bit (should be 'straight' and NO fishtail flair) , 2. 'white spot' is too large and too 'bright white' . Note : hairline crack (barely visible) in top bit but not in button . NO bowl coat . Will sit (not a flat base) ...wobbles back and forth. 2. Note : not sure stem is original to this Dunhill (as it is an F/T but shank not stamped 'F/T'. Flat base sitter. 3. Pipe at right : Left side nomenclature (photo #13) : Dunhill Bruyere 708 (oval shank , slight bent F/T stem) . Right side nomenclature (photo #14) : Made in England , 13 (underscored , = 1973) and 4A . Chamber straight uniform (w/ bowl coat) and round at ID .727" x .724" (slight ballooning at mid-bore) . Bowl height 1 13/16" , Bore depth 1 1/2" , Weight 1.0155 oz. (28.8 g) . All pipes cleaned and sanitized , no ghosting , tight stems , no tooth chatter .
