PLEASE NOTE: The item shown in the last 2 pictures in the Photo Gallery is Not Included in this sale. Those are from another listing we have of Tweety & Sylvester" called "I Twat I Saw a Puddy Tat", by Animated Animations 1998. We included it in the pictures in case you were a collector & may have some interest. That piece has working animation as shown in its video. The Display Quality alone of this offering is worth the price & it is signed by Mel Blanc! Really a neat piece of cartoon history. Nifty 3-D display modeled after original cartoon in detail. Produced only in a Limited Edition of 2500 to be signed by Mel Blanc. The complete details on how this item was made can be read on the COA (using zoom feature), quite a detailed & quality process for collectors to see. The item's animation is not working properly as shown in video, but it is still quite impressive. The animation motion sticks & so we are selling as "non-working" & for collector display & art quality. We will remove the batteries for shipping, and they are not included (it takes 4 C Batteries) for safety & shipping reasons. We acquired from a collector's estate with the original box & packing. The COA is on the back, with maintenance instructions & other. We believe this was at least hung for some time as it has a hanging wire on the back. Other than the glitchy non-working mechanicals, the item looks near mint except for a few small scuffs on the case backing where the hanging wire on back has brushed against the case. Of course, as noted, the mechanical animation needs repair, or just leave it as it is. We are pricing based on it not working and for collector value alone. These have sold from $250 to $500 on eBay over the years, but many without the original Box, the Blanc signature, COA & Other. We are pricing ours at what we feel is a very fair price based on a balance of condition & collector value. These originally came with a 2 Year Warranty when made but that has long since expired of course. We are extremely careful with shipping, so this will be packed inside a Styrofoam lined box & the original packing is sturdy as well as shown in pictures. Personally, as a collector, I would advise just hanging this for display away from direct sunlight, heat, dampness or other or keep it boxed up. You may be able to have this repaired or do so yourself (if you are a clock or watch repair person), but we have no idea. The photos we took were as it operated the first 1-2 times we ran it, it was glitchy then, but got worse as we ran it again. Elmer will stick on the left side and not want to move over, or he will move over 1"-3" and stick. Then the voice from audio will say "error". You can hit button and he may or may not move forward a little more. We think it is something in the belt & gearing but did not want to it take apart to see. It will arrive looking as it does in first three "fixed" photos in the gallery. The audio play worked every time until it would stop & say "error". In working condition this should be a $450-$500 piece, so we are discounting from that. When working, it is easy to operate. There is a control wheel on the lower right side of cabinet that turns on & adjusts the volume & then a button on lower right front (shiny black) that you just press. If you are able to have repaired, I would also suggest adult supervision when operating the animation as this would likely be a wall hanging piece & I could see (I know my grandkids would) children wanting to keep hitting the play button, over & over again as may have been the case with this one. These were sold primarily as collector grade, limited editions pieces, not as toys, as tempting as they are to play with. Please Note: We photograph & video artwork in different light settings to try and capture a painting, sculpture or other artwork's look in different settings. Therefore, there may be some variations in color from one picture to another. The photos are not altered, but may have been photographed in a brighter room, with natural light, a flash feature or other. Videos tend to shoot a little darker than actual appearance. Also, we try to note any visible defects we can see but there may be wear or imperfections we miss. Please view all pictures taken for your consideration and use zoom feature if needed. Likewise, you can always notify us with questions. Please Read: All items above $100 will require signature upon delivery, so please plan accordingly. Also, we have discounts with FedEx & eBay on shipping which do not always show up in eBay estimates on shipping. We try to refund what we can when there is a notable difference, but we do not know until we actually process the shipping order. See our Feedback & Buy with confidence. We ship with extreme care & all items are fully insured! We often take from 30-90 minutes packing more delicate & odd sized items to make sure your treasure is protected. We also photograph most items above $100 while packing in case a shipper were to ever damage an item (only 1 time in over 2,000 US shipped sales). For this reason, if an item is ever damaged, it will be the Buyer's responsibility to file a claim with the shipping service and we can provide photos from packing to assist Buyers. The process is not difficult, but the timing of such does not allow adequate time for the item to be returned to us and then for us to proceed with a claim (chain of custody questions can arise as well on returned items due to double shipping and handling so it is just easier for Buyers). So again, as noted in listing, we do not offer returns. Sales tax is charged according to your state or country's regulations. Of course, there is free local pick up and we can meet to assist if you are near Indianapolis or driving through. We do this often. Please follow our store if you love rare antiques, primitives and collectibles of many types. We scour the land for the rarest and neatest of items for our Buyers who love them. We offer everything from rusty industrial to fine art by renowned US and foreign artists. We have Historic American, Antique advertising, Salesmen samples, Oil Paintings & sculptures by noted artists, Farm Primitives, Antique lighting fixtures and Aladdin lamps, militaria, Classic Comics, Sports Memorabilia and much, much more. We usually have about 450 items in various price ranges from $10 to $3,000, but our inventory changes almost daily. We have sold to Hollywood, Corporate Executives & CEO's, Resorts, B&B's & Museums, but mostly to people who simply love rare and nifty items. It is our honor to offer these treasures to you.
