Description: This is an American Series 1100 padlock which I have cut away on one side with a CNC machine so you can see the internals. Great as a collector/display piece or visual aid for locksport. Fully functional and comes with 2 keys. Includes 5 pin stacks (with 5 serrated driver pins), with the 6th chamber left empty by the manufacturer. There are 5 colored key pins on this lock. The cutout is on the RIGHT SIDE of the lock, as viewed from the keyway with the pins at the top. The 1100 cannot be cut on the left side due to the internal design of the lock. This is the exact lock you will be getting. Please check via the photo of the keys that the bitting on this lock is acceptable for your preference/skill level before purchase. Note also that there are 5 security (serrated) driver pins as shown. May have a few very small imperfections in the anodized finish due to the manufacturer's anodizing process. A: In my opinion, not that much, especially for locks like this one that don't have spool pins. Q: Can you cut away this lock on the other side? A: NO. The 1100 and some other locks have a hidden screw assembly that would obscure the pins from view if the cutout was on the opposite side. It's a little annoying for us right-handed pickers, but that's just how this lock was designed by the manufacturer. Q: Do you ship internationally?
