Description: Antique Heinrich Handwerck 109- 11 bisque and composition doll. 18 1/2" tall, with amazingly pretty blue sleep eyes, open mouth with 4 teeth, light brown wig, and pierced ears. Ball jointed composition body with jointed wrists. Composition body marked Handwerck", and the bisque head is marked only "109-11". Someone gave her a styrofoam pate, but the wig isn't glued to it, so you could change that. The head has a few very tiny dings along the top edge, but no cracks or repairs. The eyes must have been reset, and they don't really close. Some wear on the hands and around the joints, with a few small cracks around the neck opening. Feet excellent with just a slight bit of wear on the ends of the toes. Knee ball may have been replaced. Very pretty period dress, with a slip underneath, and sweet leather shoes (marked only with the size: "5"), in excellent condition with slightest wear on the toes. Stringing excellent and she holds a pose well. I have more photos that didn't fit here, so email if you'd like to see.
