Description: 16.00 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Available for immediate purchase is this profoundly rare, circa 1904-1905 (presented as a birthday gift in 1905), corded with membrane sufficiently intact, made in Detroit, Michigan, USA, guaranteed original and authentic, White Rose real perfume in an approximately 1-ounce size with some evaporation by Dabrooks’ Perfumes. All photos were taken in natural light at 40x magnification to best highlight overall condition. The buyer will receive the exact item pictured. This bottle is in excellent condition for its age. The dark green paper label is intact with light aging. The back of the face label features cursive pencil lettering, “DM,” which was written prior to label application at the Dabrooks’ factory. The oval "D" sunburst logo glass stopper still sports its festive, original purple and white striped knotted fabric cording. Although some of the onion skin membrane has flaked away over time, there is no lift and enough remains to see that the stopper has never been released nor has the perfume ever leaked. The back of the bottle is embossed, “Dabrooks’ Perfumes Detroit.” The rectangular presentation box does have shelf wear but is structurally sound and still contains its original tissue paper padding. The interior of the box has no staining/leakage issues. The best part, however, is the cursive pencil inscription (see the last photo) on the back of the box: “Tot, Lucille Auderson, 1 year of age. June 6, 1905” which dates this bottle's manufacture date to thereabouts or slightly before. The original contents are clear with no floaties, debris, murkiness, or any syrupy consistency. Originally launched in 1899, White Rose is classified as a floral scent. Dabrooks’ was established in 1893 by Williams Davis Brooks. Its first fragrance was launched in 1895.
