Description: Antique French Chromolithographs, Children in Military Uniforms, 1880’s, 2 pcs These two charming French gilded chromolithographs depict scenes of children dressed in military uniforms and accompanied by the regiment's cook with a box of Liebig brand beef bouillon. Each piece has a title underneath the image and is stamped on both sides with the name of the advertiser, “Liebig”, bouillon manufacturer in London. It was printed in the 1880’s by Testu et Massin, Champenois et Cie, successors, whose printshop was located Boulevard Saint-Michel in Paris. Both pieces are in good condition with the exception of some yellowing on the back. Please refer to the detailed photos on this page.
