Description: Antique German Salt Glazed Stoneware Westerwald 1 Liter Stein with Pewter Lid. This is a rustic, utilitarian stein with a plain combed body and simple undecorated lid. Approximately from the middle of the 19th century. 8” tall to the top of the thumb lift, 6” wide including handle, with a 4” diameter. In good antique condition, it shows age and use appropriate wear. No chips, the thumb lift is a little loose and there is a hairline crack on the bottom of the handle.
