Description: This antique German Bisque Head Doll by Simon & Halbig is a lovely collector's item. With dark blonde curly hair and brown eyes, this 18.5" girl doll has a light complexion and comes with a white dotted dress. The doll is made of composition and bisque materials and was manufactured by Simon Halbig: Heinrich Handwerck in Germany. Doll is wearing its original wig, has beautiful, brown sleep eyes, feathered, brows, open mouth, and four exposed teeth. She is really in very good condition with just some crazing and cracking of the composition around the joints. She does have pierced ears, but the earrings are missing. Her hair could use a bit of attention, the major damage is there is a spot where the bisque is chipped under the right eye. It likely can be repaired with paint, but it is being sold in as is condition. Please view the photos to see this damaged spot.
