Description: This early Japanese dynasty cliosonne enamelware shows the distinctive artistry used to create this colourful enamel on copper ink well. This has the original white porcelain ink well,often missing. Measures 2" tall by 2-1/2" square with porcelain insert being 1-5/8" across.The inkwell shows ink residue with 2 surface cracks noted and remnants of old tape around outside.The intricate enamelware has applied colours of yellow, pink, blue, green, and white. We have reduced the price because this does not have a top.
