Description: Beautiful antique solid cherry Weis Manufacturing Company card filing box. The box measures 6 3/4" long x 3 3/4" deep x 5 1/4" tall. Inside is 6" long x 3 1/4" deep x 4 3/4" tall. The box is constructed of 5/16" thick cherry wood and uses finger joints for strength. Broken hinges were replaced. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand-polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. Fully lined with new dark green felt. Excellent condition. All joints are solid. No cracks, scratches or splits in the wood. Felt feet to protect bottom. Shipping weight approximately 1 1/2 pounds. Very Fast Handling! Ships day after payment is received.
