Description: Antique Primitive STURDY BRASS Semi-Circle 1/2 Dome Wall Mount Cooking Pot Rack Click images to enlarge Description ANTIQUE HANGING RACK Incredibly sturdy, well made, bomb proof semi-circle wall pot rack measuring about 12-1/2" to the edge of the mount plates, 8-1/2" wide, 5" deep, hooks are about 1-3/4" long, hook end that would fit through a hanging hole is about 1/3" wide, and actual brass bar is solid, 1/4" thick, and distance between hooks is about 3". Featuring thick curved brass with pierced, flat ends for mounting, it is finished with four extremely strong hooks for holding the heaviest pots or cooking tools. I purchased this in France back in the 1960s, and hand carried it home - it was the beginning of my crazy collecting of antique copper cooking pots and utensils. The rack will hold over 150 pounds, as long as it is well mounted into wall studs. It is such a wonderful wall display - perfect for those oversize pieces that are difficult to store in a cabinet or cupboard. Condition is lovely with no damage - it has not been polished and retains the original age created patina - no cracks, chips, bends, discoloration or damage.
