The etched Registration Number #67648 proves these vases were made on the first run in February 1887 in Stourbridge England. The squat vases stand 3" tall by 2.5" . The hand painted design has cherries, vines and leaves. The tops are crimped, one vase has a slightly darker pink top. Using their opal glass mixture they added oxide of uranium and reduced gold creating a light yellow opaque glass with a matt- satin finish. The uranium content causes the green glow when lit.
