Description: The Rochester Optical Company was the predecessor of The Eastman Kodak Company. The company was founded in 1883 and well known for their 5x7 folding bellows “Poco” camera. I have included two photos of that camera, but this auction is only for the pinback. Made by the Whitehead & Hoag company, this is a beautiful early celluloid advertising pinback button for the Poco camera. The pinback is in remarkably beautiful condition with a phenomenal graphic of the camera. This very rare and beautiful example of early advertising rarely comes up for sale, especially in near mint condition. Please take a look through my other items as I will be continually listing early advertising pieces from a very high end celluloid collection.
