Description: This charming salt cellar was found in rural France. It depicts a chariot or carriage with a donkey pulling is and a cut glass insert with a sombrero wearing driver. The piece is made of silver plate over copper and the wheels move. The detail and craftsmanship on both the donkey and the carriage is very good and detailed. Condition of both glass and carriage/horses is very good, there is some residue from polish over the years. The glass is clean and appears to be intact. Measurements are: 5 3/4" by 2" and 3 3/8" tall.
