Description: For sale is an antique Stations of the Cross/Way of the Cross chaplet/rosary. This item is used to meditate on the 14 step devotion to commemorate the Passion of Jesus Christ. This chaplet, when stretched out, measures approx. 17" long. Each medal measures 1/2" wide and the crucifix is 1 1/2" tall. The 14 medals are all composed of aluminum and are thin and very light in weight. The crucifix & center are base metals. The 14 Stations are: 1.) Jesus Condemned to death; 2.)Jesus Carries His Cross; 3.)Jesus Falls For the First Time; 4.)Jesus Meets Mary; 5.)Simon Helps Jesus Carry the Cross; 6.)Saint Veronica Wipes the Face of Jesus; 7.)Jesus Falls For the Second Time; 8.)Jesus Consoles the Holy Women; 9.)Jesus Falls For the Third Time; 10.)Jesus Stripped; 11.)Jesus Attached to the Cross; 12.)Jesus Expires on the Cross; 13.)Jesus Taken Down from the Cross; 14.)Jesus Put into the Grave. This item is antique and has a great deal of age & wear. There are imperfections everywhere. Some the the 14 medals are missing their bails and instead they have holes punched in them and are connected to the chain. Some medals are also a bit bent. All are extremely worn. Many of the beads have imperfections too. They are made of wood and are different sizes and some are different colors. Some have gouges and discoloration.
