Description: This piece is one page from a fabulous sketchbook I believe Robert created during his early years in California circa early 1940sHis attention to detail is incredible.8 X 11" The sketchbook cover photo pictured is for you to see what I'm extracting these from. *It is not included in the sale. Individual pages will be carefully removed from the book upon sale. Years ago, I inherited a collection of vintage artworks (mostly 1930s-40s) created by my Great Uncle, Robert (Bob) Poole and my paternal Grandfather, Edward (Ed) Poole. Both attended Cornish Art School in Seattle WA. Bob later moved to Los Angeles, CA where he enjoyed a career as a professional illustrator. He belonged to the Society of Illustrators LA. Bob illustrated for a number of companies including Lockheed and Douglas Aircraft, Sunkist and more. To this day he has 9 paintings on display at the Pentagon as a part of the US Air Force Art Program.I am currently releasing a few pieces from my collection.I have had some of the pieces professionally examined which brought me to the asking price. On some pieces, I may consider a reasonable offer.I will take care in packaging the art for shipping. Currently I am only shipping within the US.Please contact me with any questions. No returns.
