Description: Welcome to Milkweed Antiques. This wonderful rocking chair is made from wood. The spindles are dowels. The back is cut out and has a flower decal. The rocker has arms. At the top of the side back dowels are turned, fancier knobs. It has long rocker blades. The flower is red and orange with green. The chair retains some of it's original white paint. This chair is Victorian and was made sometime during the 1910s. It is hard to believe it is still around because it is not very solid. A bisque doll may be too heavy. And it is certainly not for a child. This chair is approximately 15" tall x 8" wide at the turned top spindles x 11-1/2" deep. As mentioned above, it was made sometime during the 1910s. This rocking chair was used. It retains some of it's original white/off white paint. The front stretcher is missing and could be replaced with a dowel if needed. The chair is a bit wobbly because of the missing stretcher. Please see the pictures. They help with the description. My price reflects the condition. I love to consider reasonable offers.
