Description: This is an aftermarket/custom BLACK VIN cover for 1997-2004 Aprilia SR50 scooters. It fits all MKII (Stealth, Ditech) models, including the Air, H20, and Ditech models. This DOES NOT fit the MKI (pre-1997) or MKIII (post-2004) models. To install, line up the inside perimeter of the cover within the inner perimeter opening on the leg panel, and press firmly along the two outside edges of the cover from top to bottom. There are 7 retaining ridges on the cover, 3 on the right/left side, and one one the bottom. You should feel the panel clip into place above each ridge until the cover sits flush with the leg panel. To remove, use a plastic pry tool in the center removal slot, and pry outwards. DO NOT TRY TO PULL IT OUT WITH FORCE, it will likely break if you do. Once the top has popped out and released, use a plastic prying tool to pry outwards on the center-side of the cover until it pops off. Since the leg panel is slightly curved, the cover has been designed to slightly flex to follow the contours. The panel is currently only available in black, as it's a tone that best matches all variations of panel colors and states of weathering.
