Description: This stunning blue silk 1950s outfit, labelled Arion Vogel Couture, consists of a sleeveless square neck wiggle dress, with darted pleats at the fitted waist, and a matching short lightweight jacket/top with triple button closure and half-length dolman sleeves. Made in England, from luxurious, shantung silk fabric - the cut and attention to detail are wonderful - the slubs run horizontally on the dress, while on the jacket they are diagonal. The dress falls below the knee, and is fully lined, with rear metal zip closure. A rare find, this wonderful dress suit is suitable for many occasions and would be ideal for a wedding guest, mother-of-the-bride, a chic casual outing or for a vintage themed event such as Goodward Revival.
