The painting came in a box that identified the artist and there is another identification mark with the artist's name on the back of the very old wooden frame as seen in the pictures. A newspaper or magazine article, undated but old, was also in the box with the painting. His signature was hard to find, although we have two pictures taken in the sunlight of the bottom right corner where it appears to be his signature as you can make out certain letters of his name, just hard to read. The artist was known to use varnish which tended to darken the painting over the years. Some of the pictures were taken in the sunlight and some were taken indoors in hopes to give the interested person all views possible. Feel free to write with questions.
