Description: This is an original colored map set of Ashburnham and South Ashburnham. MA from 1870. This very rare and fragile map set is in excellent condition considering they’re over 150 years old. Each of the two maps are approximately 12“ x 14“ and although it shows normal aging marks, it is completely intact. What makes this map set unique is that it shows the names of the homeowners of the properties at the time with a little footprint mark showing where their home was. Also shown on these maps are insets of the towns and or villages known at the time as Blackburn Village, South Ashburnham, Ashburnham Depot, Naukeag (lake, Village), Burrageville and North Ashburnham. This original map set would look great matted and framed. A great conversation piece.
