Description: Featured here is a set of four Mother’s Day plates from Bing and Grondahl of Copenhagen, Denmark from 1977, and 1979-1981. Written on the front of each is Mors Dag, or Mother’s Day in Danish, along with a scene of a mother animal taking care of her young. 1977 has a squirrel, 1979 has a fox, 1980 has a woodpecker, and 1981 has a hare. In great condition, no chips or cracks. See pictures for closer detail. We also have a grouping of 1970-1975, along with a group of 1983-1984 & 1986.
