Description: 1984 Black Blade Gerber Mark I Boot Knife Dagger Mode 5604 mk 1 Mark I Boot knife with special black blade, made between 1992-97. Originally designed by Al Mar when he was working for Gerber, the Mark I was made from 1976-1997. Condition is good, with obvious use/sharpening along the outer edges. Handle is in excellent shape. The nylon sheath is original and the clip on the back is marked Gerber. The snap holding the blade inside the sheath is broken, where the female receiving ring has pulled off from the base. It is still attached to the male portion and can be pried off of there. Not sure if it can be super glued back onto the base and work effectively or not. See last pic, you can see the female receiving ring on the left by my fingers (its stuck onto the male portion). The female half would go on the base part where you see a round marking immediately underneath the very end of the sheath. That is where it originally attached to. Overall condition is good. Please review all of the photos as they are part of the description. Photos will supersede any written descriptions in case I missed noting anything or made an error in what I did write, so please look closely and ask questions if in doubt.
