As his name suggests, he likes to read poetry, but lots of other things, too. He also enjoys downhill skiing and collecting samples of seashells and beach sand, making him the perfect companion for every season. Dressed in his favorite black ribbon, Dickens likes to keep his style simple to make the most of his beautiful tan and white fur and cute pink nose. He loves to be around other animals, stuffed or otherwise, but he's looking forward to a human best friend most of all. And cuddles. And milk and cookies, heavy on the milk and chocolate chips. This genuine and genuinely-adorable Boyds kitty is from my own collection of 59 Boyds and Bearingtons. And yes, I'm an adult, i.e., they are all collectibles and weren't owned by children. I fell in love with every one of the bunnies, bears, frogs, cats, dogs, snowpeople, unicorns, etc. in my vast collection but I need to downsize so I'm on a mission to find new homes for all of them where they'll get the love and attention they deserve.
