Description: c 1892 George Grainger & Co (Royal China Works, Worcester) "Moss Fibre" cake / serving plate with moulded handles. Monochrome blue transfer print on white base with gilt highlights around the edges. This glorious plate is beautifully proportioned and has a good weight in the hand. It is in pristine original condition, with no damage, repairs or restoration that I can identify. The piece bears the Royal China Works, G&Co, Worcester, England cypher (backstamp) in blue on the base. Also take time to look at the matching trio in the same pattern which I have listed separately.
