Description: Offered for sale is an original vintage CinemaScope Movie Theater Sign. The vintage original sign is constructed of translucent red vacuum-formed plastic with 3 metal clip fasteners and two metal hooks on the reverse to allow for it to be easily hung on a wall or clipped to a shelf. (CinemaScope is an anamorphic lens series used from 1953 to 1967, and Bausch & Lomb won the Academy Award for its development of the CinemaScope lens.) The sign 29.5" x 15" and exhibits expected age and handling. Beautiful display piece for a home theatre or a film aficionado.
