C10 Vintage Antique Model A Ford 12V Aooga Ahooga Ahoogah Horn

Description: Vintage 12-volt unbranded ahoogah horn. This refurbished horn has been disassembled, de-rusted, cleaned, and re-painted with Rustoleum gloss black paint. It was re-assembled with all new screws, nuts, washers, and gasket. It has been tested and adjusted for the best sound. There is no rust on this horn anywhere but there may be small dents, pitting, or inconsistencies in the paint. This particular horn has a few small dents in the motor cover (see pic 1). I concentrate on getting the best sound out of these old horns and in my humble opinion a few dents here or there adds a bit of character so I do not try to remove dents nor am I an expert painter. There was no name on this horn, but from the type of motor and sound, I would guess it is a Sparton horn. The Sparton horns have a slightly different sound than the classic Hutchins horns. It is more of a one-tone growl than the traditional two-toned ah-ooo-ga. It is much like the original 1920s horns. This horn has a 2-wire hookup (12 Volts and Ground) and comes with a Model A mounting bracket. Note - The video in this listing is the horn listed. As stated, the Sparton horns have a slightly different sound than the classic Hutchins horns. It's more of a growl than ah-ooo-ga.
