Description: Very nice condition. Bright yellow with gold floral and gold trim design. Saucer is 5.5 inches across and cup is 3 inches tall. Marked on bottom and cup has 7633 painted in gold. Colclough made a mark in the history of antique bone china. Ex-mayor Herbert Colclough started his pottery firm in 1897. Interestingly, not only was he the first to produce dinnerware and chinaware, Colclough also opened up the market by selling individual pieces for ordinary people to gradually collect over time. After many acquisitions and mergers, it became the giant Ridgway Potteries in 1955. They all became part of the Royal Doulton in the 1970s. Colclough ceased production in 1996.
