Description: This is an older EMBOSSED Columbus #8 globe It is nice thick glass, There is a closeup photo that tries to show the embossing on the globe, but the photos don't do it justice! The top opening has several small chips on the backside that do not show with the lid on (see photos), and the bottom opening is very nice. This globe would show very nicely on your machine. The globe measurements are 7 5/8" High, 8" Diameter. Top opening is approx 4 1/4" and the bottom approx. 5 1/4". This particular globe has a new 1c Columbus ribbon decal.
